I get my hair pressed every other week and in between those weeks I want my hair to look good. I am 13 years old and my dad wont let me get bangs or layers or anything. Do you have any advice or tips?

Well, do you know how to cornrow? You can cornrow/flat twist your hair at night and take it out in the morning so it can look somewhat crinkly! Also sometimes i just put one of those big elastic rubber bands (kind of like what the softball girls wear to get the hair out of their face) around the front edges, and that usually looks nice. You can also try to wear it up by pinning it simultaneously with bobby pins, I usually don't use any certain type of technique when i do this one and for the most part it always comes out looking nice!
