What are some good styles and products that i can use in my hair without dammaging it? I have long thick brown hair, at about mid-chest, with long layers. It is curly/wavy and somtimes frizzy usually after i wash it.

When you get out of the shower take a towel and crunch your hair up making it more wavy then add some mousse to your hair and your done. I have the worst thick hair and on my wedding day the hairdresser worked for 3 hrs before telling me my hair was too thick to style. I just wased it crunched it up and added some mousse to it and i looked the queen of the ball.

Braids are good for long, thick hair. Different designs of braiding technics are very good. Buns are another excellent way to maintain long, thick hair. A nice creamy conditioner with vitamins A,%26amp; E, Jojoba, Carrot Oil, Aloe Vera, and some oils are good to help with the frizzies, but very light oils. Also try to straighten your hair with the ceramic tiled flat irons, it helps with the frizzies.

1. Straightening with blow-dryer or straightener (thick haired people like you and me should put straightening balm in it to prevent drying out hair)
2.Pontytails
3. Low pigtails resting right below the hair
4. Put mousse in hair to make it shiny and curlier
5. Half-up: top part of hair pulled back into ponytial: rest hanging down low or put in smthing else.
6. French braids: two down the back of head look good and not poofy.
Good luck!

This site has a forum where people post their own ideas and photos of their hair designs. Practical, beautiful ideas for long hair. Shows you how to use hair sticks and other things. These ladies are SERIOUS about long hair!
* These ladies also tell what kind of products they use and a lot of them use natural oils to condition instead of using commercial conditioners. It's a very informative site.
