Hi- I think a really cute way for them to wear it is: Take fingers and run through hair right at the temples all the way back, this will make an even line and if she has bangs, let them fall forward, this will allow for a more modern and up to date look, and let the rest hang down which you can curl under or curl all. Put the hair in a pony tail holder and can even use a ribbon, depending on what she likes. You can also pull the rubber band out a little so it doesn't seem so tight. Hope this helps.

Long hair locks you into the same ole same ole. Have the ends trimmed to an even length, so you don't have that straggly mess in the back. The sides can be angled, to be combed back or hang in a loose curl. Braids are always a standby, or a twist to one side. Don't fiddle with it, as that gets the oil from your fingers into the ends. A good shoulder length will give you a lot more choices, and, it does grow back. Best wishes

long hair is really hard to deal with

i would cut it. Its so nice and easy when its shorter..Like about 3-4 inches longer than the shoulder. or if you don't want to cut your hair, because i know that's hard for some people. Try some thing like loose braids, a messy bun, a high pony tail, or 1/2 up 1/2 down. you know what i mean...like a 1/2 pony tail? yeah. but if you aren't going to cut it shorter i would at least put layers into it, so it doesn't look all flat ya know? you can do that with long hair

you can also put it in a bun, try side ponytails, middle/low/high pony tail, half up half down, wavy, leave your hair down and put on a head band(pull out some hair in the front),braid the front half and leave the rest down, put the very front in a rubber band and leave the rest down.
